Crossing Borders committees are committed to working closely with local community organisations that support refugees and asylum seekers, providing both general and medical-specific assistance through education, action and advocacy. Activities run include: tutoring classes, mentoring, educational events, workshops, fundraising and advocacy on a national level. These are run by enthusiastic and highly skilled local Crossing Borders for Health Representatives around Australia.

With an expanded committee spanning across both AFRAM and Crossing Borders for Health, we hope to achieve great things in 2015 and beyond in action, education and advocacy. Local Crossing Borders Coordinators are central to the achievement of implementation for a large amount of these programmes.
